Former VIVAIDS, Harm Reduction Victoria's role is to be a voice for drug users on issues surrounding injecting drug use. In 1989, in the face of a growing HIV epidemic, a group of drug users, their friends, families and supporters established HRVic as an independent, user-driven community based organisation.

This group addresses issues which affect drug users in Victoria, Australia primarily, but can also include content on these issues elsewhere. Is produced primarily by and for all illicit drug users, to adress and debate issues affecting us, to provide up to date health information.
